Special Rates for Nonprofits

Nonprofit experience WHAT NON PROFITS SHOULD LOOK FOR IN A PRODUCTION COMPANY Great listening skills Scalable production team Flexible approach WE USE DIRTY WORDS Many nonprofits hate marketing-speak. Words like “brand,” “conversion,” “funnel,” and evening “marketing” itself create a sense of selling something people don’t want or need. But these words have their equivalent in the nonprofit world, from learning how people view your mission to engaging people where they are at in terms understanding about the value you bring to people’s lives.

There are, of course, many marketing terms that deserve the trash bin. And there are important differences. Your audience usually doesn’t walk away with a product; more often, they walk away with a feeling. That can be a sense of fulfillment, purpose, community, or an education. Nonprofits also need to imbue their audience with a deeper understanding of the issues as well as the skills to make a difference, whether that’s understanding the roots of childhood poverty or the tools of organic gardening. Non profits are often need help turning this ideas in to a visual language... help that understands their unique needs, budget restrictions, and competing demands.

We’ve talked and written a lot about the importance of branding for nonprofits, how it can move a nonprofits’ mission and goals forward.

Tell your story, engage your community, inspire your audience,
and motivate people to support your cause.

Many nonprofits are rightly skeptical about working with an outside production company. They feel it’s quicker and less expensive to handle those tasks in-house, even when they don’t have the production expertise; and they worry that dollars spent on an outside agency won’t increased donations and engagement. And these are valid concerns— one’s that often come true, especially when the production company starts with a focus on content… rather than strategy. But the results from do-it-yourself video campaigns are almost always disappointing or short-lived.

Nonprofits hold a place dear in our hearts. We don’t just work with many of them; we’ve founded two and served on the boards of three. From the environment, to art, to education and science, we understand the unique challenges of running a nonprofit, and the equally uncommon strengths they have when it comes to communicating a message. Nonprofits are an emotional endeavor, embodied with a sense of purpose that is compelling and distinctly profound. They are filled with stories that want to be told. We create nonprofit fundraising videos, promo videos, board training videos, tutorials, and thank-yous. What’s more, we help organizations think outside of the constraints they’ve built for themselves to find new ways of communicating their message. We also offer a range of branding services, and discounted rates for nonprofits.
